This blog details my journey in purchasing my first house.
Similar to a lot of recent college grads I don't have tons of money saved up to put a down payment on a house as well as pay for closing costs. Fortunately, there are several financing options available if you are willing to jump through the hoops. In the next post, I'll go through some of those options.
With the help of a friend who is a Realtor, we began the journey of looking for an affordable house. This journey has been about six months in the making with a lot of emotional highs and lows. This blog will detail some of the struggles I faced from finding a house, writing a contract, having the contract accepted, doing the home inspection and getting the loan for the house.
